Greetings Brothers;
This year is about to close and I would like to thank everyone
for their support to Noah Lodge. We have gained some very fine new
members that have taken a great interest in the lodge and are willingly
stepping forward to become very active. We also have two (2) newer
applicants for the degrees.
If you haven't been to the lodge lately, I urge you come and see the changes in the lodge itself.
We are having our last "Pot Luck" dinner for
this year on Monday November 28th at 6:30 for dinner, but try to arrive at 6:00 for social. And welcome a special Warden home.
Monday December 12th will be our annual Election of
Officer. Please come and vote, and keep our lodge moving ahead. WE have
accomplished a lot of things in not only the lodge, but are making other
lodges take notice of NOAH LODGE no. 357 throughout the 28 and
29th districts. All of which has been changing the attitudes towards our
lodge. I know this will continue because of the quality of our
members.
Again, I want to thank you all for your
support to me, the lodge, the community, and each other. I know that if
the incoming slate of officers receive the same support we'll have an
even greater year.
On a final note,Brother John Duly has had a knee replacement and is at home recouping. please send him a card.
God bless and keep us all safe.

From The
West
Brothers,
December ends the year for the ellected officers and a new
year begins.
Thanks to the Worshipful Master for a great job and all
the other elected and appointed officers. Where there is an end there
is always a beginning, this beginning starts with the members showing up
to vote for the new officers.
December 12th will be the night all
members need to show up and vote for who you best believe can do best
for the Lodge. This year the officers were Larry Newton - Worshipful
Master, Lawrence Tomlinson - Senior Warden, James Hamilton - Junior
Warden, Gerald Keeton - Secretary, Tom Reedy - Treasurer, Rhett Tillman
- Senior Deacon, Mike Gardener - Junior Deacon, Bob Sabo - Senior Steward, Ed
Ciofani - Junior Steward, John Duly - Marshal and last but not least John
McKinney, our fine Chaplain. Remember these names as you vote all have done
a very fine job, one to be proud of. Special thanks go out to Noah's
Trestle board editor PM Dana McGrath for an excellent job of putting
our news out to all the Brethren whether by U.S. mail or through our
online Trestle board and web page at Noahlodge357.org, visit it often.
Brothers, I have not a lot to say as I have been working
out of town. I have visited several Lodges out here in the great state
of Texas. Texans are very proud of their state and even more proud of
their Lodges. I will be home before the Holidays and can't wait to be back
in my home Lodge in North Fort Myers.
Once again come out to vote - this
is your Lodge and you do have some say in all matters within the lodge.
Waiting to return,
Lawrence A. Tomlinson
PM, Senior Warden

"Observing the time"
My Brothers,
Some time ago while undergoing some remodeling a local lodge needed
to make use of the banquet hall at the local hotel to hold their
meetings.
One evening a Gentleman entered the lobby and
observed the Tyler standing at the door holding his sword in hand. The
Gentleman turned to the desk clerk and asked "What's going on over there?".
The Clerk told him
that the local Masonic Lodge was holding their meeting in the banquet
room.
The Gentleman replied; "Oh! The Masons. Isn't that the
organization that is very hard to get into?" The Clerk replied " It Must
be! The poor guy with the sword has been knocking on the door all night and they still haven't let him in!"

From The Secretary's Desk
At
the end of June, I mailed out 23 late notices. So far I have received
five (6) responses.
If you have not been to Lodge lately, you'll
be surprised at the renovations done by Brother Ed Ciofani and his crew of workers.
Hope
to see you at Lodge.
Fraternally,
Jerry Keeton
Secretary
From The Chaplain's Station
My Brothers,
Christmas will soon be here, and it is time to go shopping. With the economy
still bad and everything made in China it is hard to buy the perfect gift for
your family and friends.
I would like to suggest giving the gifts of love and service. Perhaps a note to
a shut in, that I will take you to the store once a week in the coming
year.
A phone call to an old friend or relative, a note to your wife, I will help you
with the house work this year. A note to
a handicapped neighbor, I will cut your grass once a month, or walk your dog
once a week.
If you cannot donate to a charity, then volunteer to work a few hours a week
next year. A promise to grandchildren to
take more interest in their activities, school, baseball, football.
My Brothers, this is all affordable and made in America.
May you have a Christmas of love, joy, and happiness.
May God bless you every day in every way.
John McKinney
Chaplain
